Notice of Public Hearings

Notice is hereby given that the City of Danville will hold three public hearings, as referred by the Danville City Council pursuant to 65 ILCS 5/11-12-7, to consider the Danville 2050 Comprehensive Plan — May 2026 Public Draft and to formulate a formal recommendation to the Danville City Council regarding its adoption.

This hearing will be conducted informally, as required by 65 ILCS 5/11-12-7. All persons wishing to be heard in support of or in opposition to the proposed Comprehensive Plan will be allowed to do so. Statements may be submitted orally, in writing, or both.

All interested persons are invited and encouraged to attend the public hearing and provide comments. This is the community’s opportunity to give input on Danville’s long-range vision and planning policies before the Public Services Committee, Planning and Zoning Commission, and Public Works Committee make their formal recommendation to the City Council.
