What is a Comprehensive Plan?

A Comprehensive Plan is a blueprint for the future. It is a community vision that will guide the City of Danville for the next 25 years. The Comprehensive Plan will result in a set of policies that direct future growth and development. Additionally, the creation of a plan can lead to potential strategies that will help effectively guide City leaders as they make substantive and thoughtful decisions for the community.

Below is the first public draft of the comprehensive plan. The plan was crafted using input from residents, business owners, employees, City staff, and community stakeholders.

Please take your time to read through and see if we captured your vision for Danville’s future. This is the first public draft, the final version will incorporate any comments gathered in this public review.
