Community Engagement Summary

Community input shapes the Comprehensive Plan.

The Community engagement summary was crafted through many different outreach programs. In-person meetings, online surveys, and stakeholder interviews were all conducted to gather information about what the community wants for the future of Danville.

More than 700 residents and stakeholders participated in shaping the vision for Danville’s future. The summary highlights community priorities such as economic development, public safety, housing improvements, and infrastructure upgrades, while recognizing Danville’s unique assets, such as affordability, small-town character, natural features like Lake Vermilion, and vibrant arts and cultural scene.
